Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 March 2026

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using the Peppr website (peppr.io) and any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the site or services.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Peppr Limited, a company registered in New Zealand (“Peppr”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Description of services

Peppr provides a platform that helps teams work more effectively by adapting workflows, meeting structures, and communication patterns to how people think and process information. Our services include:

  • A website providing information about Peppr and the ability to request a pilot.
  • Integrations with workplace tools (Slack, Microsoft Teams, calendar providers) to observe workflow patterns and provide proactive recommendations.
  • Preference surveys that allow team members to share how they work best, without requiring any diagnosis or disclosure.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation. If you are using Peppr on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

4. Accounts and access

Access to certain features of Peppr requires your organisation to authorise integrations with your workplace tools. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any credentials used to connect Peppr to your organisation's tools.

You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your organisation's Peppr account.

5. Pilot programme

Submitting a booking request through our website constitutes an expression of interest and does not create a binding agreement. Pilot terms — including duration, scope, pricing, and deliverables — will be confirmed in a separate written agreement between your organisation and Peppr Limited.

Pilots are subject to availability and our assessment of mutual fit. We reserve the right to decline a pilot request at our discretion.

6. Acceptable use

When using Peppr, you agree not to:

  • Use the service to attempt to identify, diagnose, or screen individuals for neurodivergent traits or any other cognitive or medical condition.
  • Use preference data or insights provided by Peppr to discriminate against, penalise, or make adverse employment decisions about any individual.
  • Share individual team members' preference data with others without their explicit consent.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any Peppr software.
  • Use the service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.

7. Data and privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using Peppr, you acknowledge and agree to our data practices as described in that policy.

Your organisation's data remains the property of your organisation. Peppr processes this data solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of any customer data.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website and within the Peppr product — including text, graphics, logos, animations, software, and code — is the property of Peppr Limited and is protected by New Zealand and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Peppr content without our prior written permission. Your use of Peppr does not grant you any ownership rights in the service or its content.

9. Accuracy of information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure the information on our website is accurate and current. However, we do not warrant that all information is complete, error-free, or up to date.

Statistics cited on the website are sourced from published academic research. References are available on request. These figures represent general research findings and should not be taken as guarantees of specific outcomes for your organisation.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep Peppr available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Peppr Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of, or inability to use, the website or service.
  • Any reliance on information provided through Peppr.
  • Any unauthorised access to or alteration of your data.
  • Any third-party conduct or content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under New Zealand law, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peppr Limited, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Peppr at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

14. External links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites. Linking to a third-party site does not imply endorsement.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Peppr will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Your continued use of the website or service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

For material changes that affect your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users in advance.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
